I spent a weekend in Paradise and was overwhelmed with the beauty, the people and the landscape. Nature’s fury had its own plans and wreaked havoc on the entire valley, waterlogging roads, ruining fields, causing death and destruction on a mass scale. The people in Srinagar and neighbouring villages had no food, drinking water, electricity or connectivity and some of them spent the better part of 4 days trapped on their roofs until help arrived.

May enough help pour in to save the people in the Kashmir Valley.They have been through enough adversity as it is and have braved every storm with grit and fearlessness. I urge all of you to do your bit to donate/contribute cash or emergency supplies to the people who have lost their homes and families. Let us work together to reconstruct Srinagar and bring about peace, harmony and balance in Paradise.
