The wellness blogosphere has been raving endlessly about dairy free, vegan milk alternatives like almond and coconut milk. Going dairy free is often hard but results in improved immunity, radiant skin, less allergies and hay fever and sometimes weight loss. Unlike highly processed varieties of soy milk, almond milk is actually quite delicious and tastes decadent and is incredibly satisfying. It has all the calcium, protein, iron you need for a quick boost during the day.
You don’t have to be lactose intolerant to reap all these benefits. Going dairy free can do wonders to your skin, hair, hormones and help reset your metabolism.

The one I was most excited about is the ‘matcha mylk’. Matcha is a kind of green tea powder with caffeine that boosts alertness, enhances performance and assists with weight loss. The mylk contains matcha and five spice powder for a real antioxidant boost.
They also have the ‘espresso mylk’ with a single shot of coffee and pumpkin spice to remind you of the holidays and beat the dreaded mid afternoon energy slump.
Lastly, the ‘sexy mylk’ is a delicious concoction of my favourite things. Raw chocolate, cherries, raw cane sugar, bee pollen and almond milk. Bee pollen is a widely used superfood that is rich in vitamin b, perfect for vegetarians as it is nutritionally dense compared to other superfoods. It is a rich source of vegetarian protein and can be used daily as a supplement in your juice, tea or smoothie.
Both the mylks (muscle and sexy mylk) were absolutely delicious. I was addicted and had to go to their booth to grab a few more bottles over the weekend. They were decadent with just the right amount of sweetness and the delicious hints of almond. I’m a huge almond mylk fan so I’m definitely sold on these babies.
