How to prepare for laser hair removal-
You will probably have to shave the area you are going to get treated the day of your treatment. Some people like to shave the day before to avoid any irritation or razor burns.
No waxing, tweezing or using the epilator for at least a month.
Avoid applying make up, deodorant or fragrant lotions on the day of your treatment.
If the hair growth is too much between sessions, let your therapist know beforehand so she can help you plan this.
Don’t apply any Retino A creams or anything that will make your skin more sensitive.
Tips on TLC post the treatment-
Avoid swimming or tanning for 48-72 hours post the laser
If you experience tenderness, soreness or redness, apply cool compress for 24 hours post the treatment.
Don’t apply make up or foaming face washes to the area for a day post the laser.
Avoid sauna, steam and hot showers to facilitate recovery and help with the healing of the skin.
