I met a friend for coffee the other day and I couldn’t help but gush over her lashes. She had absolutely no make up on but the lashes transformed her look making her look more bright eyed , radiant and awake. She told me about Novalash and its entry into the Indian market and I was sold.

I bought myself a green tea and lay down. The process took almost two hours but I had music and a friend to talk me through it when I was getting restless and angst you. The therapist painstakingly put the lashes on top of my existing lashes to build volume, increase the length and make it look dramatic. I opted for American Volume and was so thrilled with my decision.

I shoot pretty regularly so the thought of less prep time before shoots was a great advantage. I no longer had to worry about applying and reapplying mascara with my new lashes. I was a little apprehensive about the glue they were using but my fears were put to rest when they explained that the glue wouldn’t adversely affect my eyes or my natural lashes. Verdict- would I do it again? Most definitely. Is it worth the price? Absolutely, considering you don’t have to spend inordinate amounts of money on expensive mascaras anymore. The application was like a work of art and it didn’t in the least bit  interfere with the natural growth of my own eyelashes. It doesn’t really hurt and only feels like a slight tugging which you get used to. The lashes are water-proof ,oil-resistant and lustrous- changing up your whole look. The platinum bond adhesive is really safe and has no adverse effects on the skin or your lashes so don’t fret about it. Lie back, listen to some music and let Novalash spoil you rotten.

Tips-

Avoid steam and sauna for 72 hours following the treatment

Avoid makeup removers with Glycol and Carbonates that reduce their lifespan.

Use the lash wand to keep the lashes tangle free.

Use water based mascaras when absolutely necessary.

Go into the salon for a touch up within 4 weeks of the extensions to replace the lashes that have fallen off.

Try and spend a few minutes to condition your lashes with cleansing pads. The CLEANLASH pads, made with pomegranate oil,  are glycol free and gentle on the skin around your eyes.
